LogicGridApps, operated by Mukesh Thummar, Gujarat, India ("we," "us," "our"), values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and safeguard the information you provide when using our mobile application, AI Antique Identifier (the "App").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
⚠️
Data Accuracy & Source Disclaimer
Section 02
Important Notice: The antique identification data, descriptions, historical details, era information, and any other textual content displayed in this App are sourced from publicly available web resources (including Google search results, knowledge bases, and visual search indexes). This data is not verified, certified, or guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up to date.
Specifically, you should be aware that:
- Information presented about an antique item (name, origin, era, material, style, provenance) is retrieved via automated AI analysis and may not reflect the exact or true characteristics of the physical item you scanned.
- The App may occasionally misidentify items, provide partial information, or display data for a similar but different item.
- Antique identification involves expert judgment, tactile inspection, and provenance verification — none of which the App is capable of performing remotely.
- Data sourced from the web may contain errors, outdated records, or conflicting historical accounts. We do not independently validate this data.
- When the App cannot confidently identify an item, it may display a general error or incomplete result rather than fabricated information. If your item is common, modern, or the photo is of poor quality, results may be unreliable.
Use the information provided in the App for educational and general reference purposes only. Do not rely on this data for professional, legal, financial, or commercial decisions.
💰
Estimated Price Disclaimer
Section 03
CRITICAL: Any price range shown in the App is an approximate estimate only and does NOT represent the actual market value, resale value, auction value, or insurance value of your specific item.
Regarding estimated price information displayed in the App:
- Approximate only: Price ranges are derived from general web data and AI inference, not from real-time auction results, dealer pricing, or expert appraisal databases.
- Actual value may be lower or higher: The real market value of your item may be significantly lower or significantly higher than the estimated range shown. Many factors affect an item's actual value — condition, provenance, rarity, current market demand, region, and buyer/seller dynamics — none of which the App can fully assess.
- Not a professional appraisal: The App is not a licensed appraiser. Price estimates should never be used as the basis for buying, selling, insuring, estate planning, or tax purposes.
- Market fluctuation: Antique values can fluctuate significantly over time. Prices shown are based on data available at the time of analysis and may be outdated.
- No financial liability: LogicGridApps accepts no liability for any financial loss or gain resulting from actions taken based on the estimated prices shown in the App.
Always consult a certified antique appraiser or specialist dealer before making any financial decisions about your antique items.
📊
Information We Collect
Section 04
We believe in data minimization. The App is designed to allow you to scan and identify antiques without creating an account or providing personal details.
Personal Data
We do NOT collect any directly identifying personal details (such as your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or contact list).
Non-Personal & Technical Data
We collect certain technical data automatically to support app stability, performance, and ads monetization:
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, language settings, screen density, network state, and CPU architecture.
- Application Diagnostics: Crash logs, performance metrics, load times, and error indicators (via Firebase Crashlytics).
- Mobile Advertising ID (AD_ID): The Google Advertising ID for showing personalized advertisements via Google AdMob, subject to your device settings and consent. This identifier may also be shared with Meta Audience Network (Facebook) for ad mediation purposes.
- App Usage Events: Anonymized interaction events (screens visited, features used) via Firebase Analytics. No personally identifiable information is attached to these events.
📷
Camera & Gallery Data
Section 05
The core feature of the App is identifying vintage items from photographs. To do this, the App requests permission to access your device's Camera and/or local Storage.
How We Process Images:
- When you take a photo or select one from your gallery, the image is cropped and resized locally on your device.
- To identify the item, the image is analyzed using AI models and visual search algorithms. During search operations, images may be temporarily uploaded to a file hosting service (e.g. https://tmpfiles.org) so that visual indexing API calls can inspect them.
- Images uploaded this way are temporary and subject to automated deletion. We do not store or keep images on our own servers, and we do not use your photos to build database profiles of you.
Images you scan are not linked to your identity, are not retained beyond the session analysis period, and are not shared with any party other than the visual analysis pipeline described above.
📢
Advertising & Google AdMob
Section 06
The App is free to use and is supported by advertising revenue through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and use the following data on your device:
Data Collected by Google AdMob
- Google Advertising ID (GAID / AD_ID): A resettable identifier used to serve relevant, personalized ads. Required by the
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission declared in the App manifest.
- Device & Network Information: IP address, device model, OS version, language, and connection type used for ad targeting and fraud detection.
- App Interaction Signals: Which screens or ad placements are viewed, clicked, or completed — used for ad performance measurement.
Types of Ads Shown
- App Open Ads: Shown when the App is first launched or resumed from the background.
- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown at natural transition points (e.g., after scanning an item).
- Rewarded Video Ads: Optional ads you watch to unlock full AI identification results. You must watch the entire ad to receive the reward.
Opting Out of Personalized Ads
You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID or Delete Advertising ID. When deleted, only non-personalized ads will be served.
Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob Publisher Policies.

Section 09
Your antique collections, custom category folders, and scan history are saved locally on your device's internal SQLite database (via Room Database).
- No history or collection data is uploaded to our servers.

👶
Children's Privacy
Section 10
The App is not designed or directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with any data, please contact us at logicgridapps@gmail.com, and we will take necessary steps to ensure any data is cleared.
We are committed to securing your information. Because all personal antique history is stored locally on your device, the security of this data depends on the security settings of your phone.
